Internships at Oak Creek Counseling Center
As an intern at Oak Creek Counseling Center, you will have an opportunity to develop your skills and receive advanced training while working towards licensure. Interns at Oak Creek are part-time, at-will employees and receive hourly pay and a portion of client fees for providing therapy services. We expect our interns to provide sliding scale services and at least 10 therapy hours per week and to abide by all BBS licensing requirements and ethical/legal requirements.
Interns are also expected to participate in our training program and particpate in community meetings and duties. The training portion of our program includes monthly or bi-monthly CEU qualified trainings on a variety of topics. Please see our page on training for more information about trainings and class schedules.
Oak Creek currently has offices in Berkeley, Pleasant Hill, and San Francisco. Interns can choose one or more office locations for client visits. Referrals are available from the surrounding communities.
